How I can mount my Garmin Nuvi when traveling in Minnesota?
I will travel to MN for a short vacation (marriage) and I wonder what is the cheapest way to mount the GPS will be. MN has the right to have fun without suction cup windshield mount and that's what came with my nuvi and I always use.
I went to Radio Shack and bought a bean bag "mount. Basically, it's just a run pretty heavy camera mount. Place the cup in it and put up on the dashboard. I have not had any problems with the movement or shifting during driving. I recommend looking for a place like Wal-Mart in its place, and you could probably find one a cheaper price. It also prevents the witness marks on the windshield cup. Apparently, thieves sometimes break into a car if they see that these brands are trying to steal your browser GPS.
