Enlarge the size of the pad for fixing the pumping rate. I have mine to ensure a suction cup camera holder on the dashboard of my car.
The strap at the bottom of the pad is sufficient to hold small camcorders and digital cameras. Make sure the surface on which the key to perfectly meet clean (use a cotton swab with alcohol).
So far, the adhesive 3M rose (2 weeks). I will look again if the product is not mounting strip before the summer.

Not as good as the windshield
The film works very well. My problem is that the sucker just will not grip the plastic surface at all. The suction cup works amazingly on the windshield, so I know that this is not the problem. I had the surface was perfectly clean and free of dust. I've tried both dry and wet. You can work with Vaseline, but is a pain to clean.
