Is this another option not to sign up for traffic information from TomTom? Manda you are sure it is a one-year subscription free, I thought it was a free lifetime subscription?!
There are two ways to get traffic to your TomTom. You can get it through your phone if your phone is compatible and has an unlimited GPRS data plan (ie the U.S. AT & T or T-Mobile) or you can get through the traffic information receiver. The traffic receiver includes 1 year free of traffic. If you use your phone, can get 30 days off. With these two options for the subscription price will be the same after paying for it. Also note that the major cities are covered.
